Biography

In 1985, Myers graduated with honors from the University of Virginia where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in Architecture. In 1988, he earned a Master of Architecture from Harvard University.

In 1990, he moved to Miami and teamed with an associate to head his first company, Seckinger & Myers, an architectural and interior design firm specializing in high-end residential and commercial projects. In 1994, Myers founded studiolido, inc. in Miami Beach, responsible for several renowned restaurants including Soyka's in Miami, The News Café in Coconut Grove, Fish in Aventura, Big Pink, Nemo, and the Van Dyke in Miami Beach. In 1998, Myers closed the doors to studiolido to work exclusively for client Noble House Hotels and Resorts as their director of design where he was responsible for comprehensive design projects with budget from 3 million to 50 million dollars including Little Palm Island Resort & Spa near Key West, La Playa Beach & Golf Resort in Naples, Florida, Paradise Point Resort & Spa in San Diego, Hotel Edgewater in Seattle, Ocean Key Resort in Key West, and Baleen Restaurant with locations in Coconut Grove, San Diego, and Naples, Florida.
