The Elysian Hotel is a 250-unit resort condominium with all the complexities
of a small village. The diverse program, including a conference center, health
spa/gym, tennis courts, two restaurants, retail space, and its own energy plant
and water treatment facility, required substantial coordination. Located on
a pristine stretch of beach next to the exclusive St. Thomas Yacht Club, the
resort responds with both Classic Bermuda Style and a picturesque stacking of
forms against the green hillside beyond. The 6,000 sf pool is separated from
the ocean by 20' of palm-shaded beach.
